Kids stay free:

During the school holidays, children up to the age of 16 stay for free with our compliments when sharing their parents' room. Outside of the school holidays, additional charges apply.

Cliveden Maze
This maze is surprisingly challenging for visitors young and old. Made from over 1000 yew trees, this giant maze was built for William Waldorf Astor in 1894. 

Storybook Play Den
An enticing corner designed with children under eight in mind, The Storybook Play Den offers a fantastic location to let young imaginations run wild.

Natural Play Trail
This all-natural woodland play trail is a great opportunity to explore the woods and let imaginations run free.

Back at the House:

We take great pleasure in welcoming children of all ages to the House and accommodate families of all shapes and sizes (additional charges may apply). We have a selection of games and toys for the younger children and a wide range of DVD's available for relaxing family evenings. 

Dining
Children are welcome to join us in The Cliveden Dining Room from 6-8pm, with last orders being placed by 7pm. If you wish to dine later than this as a family, you are welcome to join us all evening in The Astor Grill. Alternatively, room service is available. 

Babysitting
Should you wish to dine whilst your children sleep upstairs, we are able to book you a babysitter. We use Tinies, a trusted babysitting service provider. We do ask that this service is booked with over 24 hours' notice where possible.

Swimming
Your little ones are welcome to join us in the indoor and outdoor pools. Children aged under 16 can use the indoor pool Monday - Sunday from 9am to 10.30am and 4pm to 5.30pm. Children's swim times must be pre-booked in advance within the slots available and are on a first-come, first-served basis. The outdoor pool is open from 8.30am to close. They must be supervised at all times. Outside of these hours, children are not permitted within the relaxation area or indoor pool hall but are allowed to sit in the Garden or The Spa Kitchen whilst under parental supervision. Children are not permitted to use the sauna, steam room, hot tubs, or indoor spa bath at any time.
