Dining at Cliveden

Please be aware that on arrival at the Restaurant or Hotel you will be required to have your temperature checked. If you temperature is over 38 degrees, you will be refused entry and asked to return home.

Changes to your Booking

Should you have any questions or if we can be of any further help to make your visit even more special, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you should need to amend your reservation please give us as much notice as possible by email or phone.

Gift Vouchers

If you are using a gift voucher when dining with us please make sure to bring it with you or sadly we cannot redeem it against your bill.

Special requests and Dietary requirements

If not already discussed, please advise us if you have any special requests, dietary requirements or allergies and please also advise if an epipen is carried by the guest. Please note that any comments put in the booking notes is not a direct message to reservations and these details must be discussed or emailed directly.

Please note that we are not a nut free kitchen environment.

The maximum amount of guests we can seat at one table is 10, subject to availability. More than ten guests can only be accommodated in a private room subject to a room hire charge and availability.

Service Charge

A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill, which goes directly to the whole team.

Directions

When you arrive at Cliveden we recommend you use the Hedsor Gate on Bourne End Road and follow signs for "House Guests". This will bring you in by the Fountain of Love, follow the drive and you may park outside the house itself. Access to Cliveden is controlled by an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system and therefore we kindly request you advise us of your vehicle registration number to F&B.anpr@clivedenhouse.co.uk along with the name of the booking ahead of your arrival.

National Trust

A visit at Cliveden is not complete without a stroll around the estate, and this impressive 376 acre backdrop is manicured meticulously by the National Trust. If you would like to enjoy a drink before dining with us, please allow half an hour extra before the time stated above as this is the time we will kindly ask you to take your seat in the restaurant.

Dress Code

Cliveden has long been associated with entertaining and many guests choose us for celebrations and special occasions. Accordingly, the dress code is smart casual and sportswear is not appropriate.

Cancellation Policy

Cliveden reserves the right to withhold your payment in full for any bookings cancelled. This reflects any cost incurred by Cliveden in terms of staff, food or beverage booked or ordered specifically for your group or party, and any lost revenue as a result of turning other bookings away.

Credit Card details will be required to confirm your booking. All credit card details are kept PCI compliant.

Afternoon Tea at Cliveden

Ordinarily, we allow 1 hour 45 minutes for you to enjoy afternoon tea. The maximum amount of guests we can seat at one table is 10, subject to availability. More than ten guests can only be accommodated in a private room subject to a room hire charge and availability.
