With over 30 years of hotel, restaurant and spa operations under his belt Andrew Stembridge is currently the driving force and strategic vision behind Iconic Luxury Hotels, a small collection of owned and managed hotels which includes Chewton Glen, Cliveden, The Lygon Arms and 11 Cadogan Gardens. Andrew's entrepreneurial approach has seen Chewton Glen go from strength to strength with the addition of the hugely successful Treehouses and his grit and determination have ensured that Cliveden is very much ‘back on the map’. With an impressive collection of awards both for business and personal achievements, Andrew continues to drive the properties forward to maximise their true potential. The respect he enjoys in the industry has seen him become the youngest ever ‘Hotelier of the Year’ in 16260 and Chairman of the Master Innholders at the same time. As a member of the International Executive Board of Relais & Chateaux his influence runs much wider than his own businesses and the impact of his charitable fundraising through a variety of sponsored marathons and long distance cycle challenges is commendable. Born is Scotland, Andrew studied Hotel Management and Tourism at Strathclyde University and more recently Cornell and Cranfield.
